Career Guides

This guide will help you locate electronic books (ebooks) and print books for exploring careers. Career guide books in print format will show locations for either the Career Center or the library. Ebooks are accessible through the library's website.

Library eBooks and Print Books

Many print and ebooks can be found in the library's online catalog. The library has several series of career books. Click on any of these phrases to see a list of titles.

The catalog record for print books will display the call number and floor number for locating the book on the shelf. The catalog record for ebooks will display a link that usually says, "Connect to online resource."

For off campus access, you will need your Bronco ID and password.

Ebook career guides are also available in ebook database collections. Read the brief descriptions of the ebook collections below to decide which of them is most likely to have ebook career guides for a major that you wish to explore and about which you wish to learn more, and click on the link.

When the ebook collection opens to the landing page, type <career*> in the search box but do not include the angle brackets. Be sure to include the star (asterisk) from the number 8 key on your keyboard. This is a truncation symbol and will search for "career" and "careers" simultaneously.
