If you are starting research on a topic that you know very little about: start with books or do a simple Google search. You need to get an overview of the topic and some background information. See the Find Books section.
If you are already familiar with the topic or doing research for a senior project or another upper division class, look for journal articles on your topic. See the Find Articles section.
