New / Trial Databases

The following databases are newly acquired or being evaluated for a future subscription.
SPORTDiscus is the leading bibliographic database for sports and sports medicine research. It includes records from leading sports medicine journals, books, dissertations and more. This database also offers subject-indexing and full-text access for 167 global open access (OA) journals that have been rigorously curated. For more information on how to use SportDiscus, check out this guide and tutorial from Portland State University. TRIAL ACCESS AVAILABLE THROUGH DECEMBER 31, 2021.
The Social Science/Humanities Library is a collection of over 1,480 online social science/humanities journals spanning a broad range of academic disciplines. Use the search function to find titles and articles. The Social Science/Humanities Library title list also provides direct URL links to the individual journals. All currently subscribed journals are also available and accessible. TRIAL ACCESS ENDS ON DECEMBER 1, 2021.
