Celebrating Black History

A guide illustrating various readings and resources related to Black History.

Celebrating Black History

Black History Month (also known as African American History Month) takes place from February 1st - February 29th in the United States. Cal Poly Pomona will be home to a number of events celebrating African American history this month, primarily hosted by the African American Studies Center and the Black Advance organization. For a full listing of events please see: CPP to Host Series of Black History Month Events from Polycentric.

This short guide of related resources was created to honor these events, celebrations, and remembrances. It contains only some of the physical and electronic resources available to the CPP community, and will continue to grow in the coming years (and throughout the year).
