Archived Internet Sites

Internet Archive Wayback Machine An attempt to keep a perminent archive of the Internet. Look here for great sites of the past. “The Internet Archive is a 501(c)(3) non-profit that was founded to build an Internet library, with the purpose of offering permanent access for researchers, historians, and scholars to historical collections that exist in digital format.” Includes the Wayback Machinesearch engine, by URL, date, or key word. Internet SCOUT Project The Scout Archives From the University of Wisconsin; " The Scout Report Archives is a searchable and browseable database to over nine years' worth of the Scout Report and subject-specific Scout Reports. It contains 26,293 critical annotations of carefully selected Internet sites and mailing lists."
