Constitution Day @ the Library

In 2004, the U.S. Congress established September 17 as Constitution Day.

Celebrating Constitution Day

The Constitution was signed on September 17, 1787.  Each year our country commemorates its signing with Constitution Day on September 17th.  Please join us by taking a moment to review and reflect upon the history of our country and this important document.

The Online Resources tab contains links to important historical documents and other educational material.  You'll also find segments from video and audio broadcasts.  The Library Resources tab highlights helpful books and videos from our collection.

Don't forget to try out some of the quizzes and games designed to test your constitutional skills!

(This site was designed and prepared by Erik J. Jackiw, a MLIS graduate, Philosophy instructor, and a volunteer in the Reference, Instruction, and Collections Services department.)
