Ideas and Friends
My teaching philosophy is that even though children are different, every child should be treated with the same respect that you would wish to be given. I believe that children should be in a positive environment that supports and encourages the children to grow mentally and physically. It is my desire to provide this atmosphere where the children feel like they are safe and protected.

My teaching philosophy is that it is important to value and respect each child individually and provide them with an inspiring learning environment that opens the doors to positive learning opportunities that assist in their mental, emotional, social, and physical growth. My daily goal is to guide the children’s learning throughout the different independent learning discoveries they make as they explore, process, and voice their thoughts as they learn. I believe that in order to provide this positive learning environment I must carefully organize the special materials such as daily, sensorial, academic, and cultural that will assist in the children's learning tasks. | My philosophy aligns mostly with that of Montessori, I believe it is important to create an environment that is culturally and linguistically welcoming to children and families in order for every single family that enters my classroom to feel welcome and like their child will be represented and respected as an individual and as a student. I believe in a hands-on, responsive and emotionally supportive approach so that children can feel comfortable and confident that they can express themselves and ask questions without feeling out of place and all while encouraging learning. |

We believe that children should be offered the opportunity to express their creativity through hands-on experiences. Every child is like a butterfly, they all evolve from cocoons to caterpillars and eventually to beautiful butterflies. We strive to create an enthusiasm for learning and increase student success through imagination and hands-on activities. |

We believe in creating a learning environment that empowers children to create and grow while embracing positive learning resources. Having a rich learning environment where children explore their development and knowledge with the help of teachers, family and friends is as equally important to us. We also believe that children benefit from learning through hands-on experiences just as Piaget believed. Our book "Colors All Around" will help children express themselves more freely in their everyday development. |

Language and literacy development should build off of the skills a child already possesses. Acknowledging that guidance should be individualized will effectively support a child’s growth, and learning from children can similarly benefit the growth of educators. | I believe children are the future. My goal is to encourage students as they learn at their own pace and create a positive learning environment. |

Education is what remains after an individual forgets what they had learned in school, it is our job as educators to not only provide a rich education but a meaningful education that students can forever carry with them. I believe in a very inclusive classroom, where all thoughts, ideas, comments, or questions are treated and responded with the utmost respect. In my classroom we not only work at educating ourselves and strengthening our brain but also to becoming well-rounded, well-mannered, and innovative next generation students. We will learn to lean on our families and community to support our classroom learning journey as well to be there if a conflict arises, I would like for my students to be able to ask for help when needed. | I believe that all students are unique individuals. Because everyone learns in their own ways, it is important that I use multiple teaching methods, incorporating hands-on experience, to find a way to connect best with each individual student. In addition, the classroom is a collaborative effort, I believe the student, teacher, and community at home can all learn valuable lessons from one another. |

We seek to help children reach their full potential and teach them about empathy, love, and nurture. Children need to express themselves by using their imagination and creativity to explore and play in the world around them. |

As an educator, I view young children as very moldable and curiously-minded individuals that need guidance in meaningful experiences through an enriched environment by well-intentioned teachers throughout their education. I hope to create a very creative and inspiring environment that builds upon their learning by having a variety of resources and activities to strengthen their developmental selves by building their self-esteem through praised efforts, social skills by encouraging interactions with other, creativity in personal and group projects, building their motor skills through active play and cognitive development in concepts like linguistics, mathematics, science, art, music and developing a sense of purpose for themselves. I believe we should build out next generation of adults to be autonomous thinkers in which they will understand how to use foundational skills, like collaboration, communication, problem-solving, analysis, confidence and cultural inclusiveness, to build upon the community around them and hopefully create a more open and loving world.

Based on the theory of Piaget, we believe that children learn best when they act on their environment and are provided with several hands on experiences. We believe that all children, despite their differences, should be provided with several opportunities to explore the world around them and learn about diversity. Family engagement is a huge commitment that we wish to fulfill hens teacher family partnership enhance the development of teacher-family partnership. |

Based upon the theories of Vygotsky and Piaget, we believe that children learn in an active environment that is supported by educators, peers, and families. We believe that to create this type of environment, families and educators need to collaborate to support creativity, pretend play, and social-emotional skills in children. In turn, children will begin to learn to embrace differences of cultures, backgrounds and inclusivity among various other skills. |

Our teaching philosophy is to help children understand and cope with their sense of emotions. We want children to learn and talk about the different types of emotions whether it’s sadness, happiness, and even anxiety. We want children to be able to express themselves and understand they are not alone with feeling worried, scared, sad, and find healthy ways to cope and communicate with their families. |
