If you only have a brief time to mention Library Services to your students, please mention these three things:
1. Tell them to look at the New Users Guide, a fairly exhaustive listing of library services with explanatory links.
2. Have them use the Library FAQ: Most common questions are already answered here. The FAQ is accessible from the Library Home page and from a lot of other places in our website. If they can't find an answer, email email@example.com.
3. When in the library, they can get help: a good starting place is the second floor Circulation/Reserve Desk; the people there can refer them to other places in the building to get help.

You are automatically registered with the library each semester. Your Bronco ID Card is your library card. Login to your library account with your Bronco name and password for online transactions. You can check out a total of 150 books at a time.
Access to Materials at G4 Libraries (Cal Tech, City of Hope Medical Center, Claremont Colleges, Occidental Colleges, and Whittier College) Please visit our circulation desk on second floor for proper credentials before visiting G4 Libraries.
You can place items from our collection or your own personal property (books, articles, past exams, homework solutions, etc.) on Reserve. We also offer electronic reserves.

Faculty and students at Cal Poly Pomona have been voicing their concern about the high cost of textbooks for some time. The Affordable Learning Initiative project is the campus response to this concern. See the Affordable Learning Initiative website for more information.
