CPP Library Information Literacy Learning Outcomes

• Students will be able to identify or describe their research topic and refine into an actionable research question.

• Students will identify their information need and select appropriate search tools based on the nature of the information need.
• Students will be able to formulate and refine effective search strategies based on their information needs and use library tools and services as necessary
• Students will be able to determine the appropriateness of a source for their information need applying established evaluation criteria.
• Students will be able to correctly cite information in a designated style and select appropriate tools to manage and organize citations as needed.
