Below is a list of recommended resources and suggestions for use.
Provides acceptance rates and other information for journals in accounting, computer science, economics, finance, information systems, management, marketing, education, and psychology. Type the name of a journal in the "Search by" box or use the "Disciplines" drop-down menu to retrieve a list of journals. Then click on a journal title to see its acceptance rate.
In the search box, type the title of an article. In the search results, look beneath each title for the words "Cited by" to see how many times it has been cited by other publications.
Index of thousands of scholarly journals, books, and conference proceedings covering a wide range of disciplines. Includes analytical tools for comparing journals, citation impact, and citation trends. In the top menu, select "Sources" then search for a journal to get more information.
To get started fast, search for a periodical, click on the title, and look under "Additional Title Details" to see if it is refereed/peer-reviewed. For more features, use "Advanced Search" to filter by "Subject Area," "Content Type," etc.
Provides access to Science Citation Index (SCI) Expanded, Social Science Citation Index (SSCI), and Arts & Humanities Citation Index (AHCI). Change "All Fields" to "Publication Titles," then search for a specific journal. Click on the journal title (NOT article title) to see more information about that journal.
Publicly available portal developed by academic researchers. Ranks journals based on "average number of weighted citations received in the selected year by the documents published in the journal in the three previous years."
