More Details on Location Areas

Display Areas

The Library currently has four active display locations — two on the 2nd floor, one on the 3rd floor, and one on the 4th floor — with a fifth location pending. Each location supports different types of engagement, timelines, and visibility:

  • Location A (2nd Floor – Near Library Entrance): Ideal for pop-up or short-term displays. High-traffic spot perfect for timely or themed highlights.

  • Location B (2nd Floor – BADIE Collaboration Area): Typically hosts heritage month displays or campus-centered collaborations. These displays usually run for the full month.

  • Location C (3rd Floor – Staff Entrance Cabinets): Used for Library-curated content under the theme “What’s Available in Your Library.” Displays here are designed to last a semester or longer, with two rotations per year.

  • Location D (3rd Floor – Pending): A potential new location near the elevator in a quiet, enclosed nook. Final setup and approval are still in progress.

  • Location E (4th Floor – Large Open Area): A flexible space for interactive, exhibit-style, or passive display experiences. Can accommodate longer durations and more immersive setups.

Display Duration

Display timelines are based on location and purpose:

  • Location A: Up to 1 month

  • Location B: 1 month (heritage month or theme-based)

  • Location C: Semester-long; updated approximately twice per year

  • Location E: Varies — preferred length is 1 month or a full semester, depending on content
