If you have a specific project or research topic in a subject, try searching for sources (books, articles, reports, etc.) on a database.
**If you cannot find the full-text of an article, reach out to the library because we most likely can find it and let you borrow it for free!
Launched in 2006 and covering the 15th-21st centuries, the Biodiversity Heritage Library (BHL) is the world’s largest open access digital library for biodiversity literature and archives. The BHL operates as a worldwide consortium of natural history, botanical, research, and national libraries working together to digitize the natural history literature held in their collections and making it freely available for open access as part of a global “biodiversity community.” The BHL makes use of the Global Names Recognition and Discovery (GNRD) service, indexing the taxonomic names throughout its collections, allowing researchers to locate publications about specific taxa.
Contains citations to articles from more than 250 journals. Subject coverage includes all of the biological sciences with about 45% of the focus on agriculture.
