Teaching with E-resources

This guide is meant to help faculty with using electronic library resources and integrating them into their course shells (in Blackboard). It covers how to find persistent links, proxy links, and copyright information related teaching.

What is a persistent link?

Links to materials that are housed in a specific database can often change, and so it is important to use the permalink/persistent link when asking students to navigate to specific articles, journals, or other materials. The CPP Library subscribes to many different databases and they often use different terms to represent stable URLs or links. Some of which include:
