This guide describes useful tools and resources for researching nutrition topics.

Research 101 Tutorials


Visit the Library's Research 101 Tutorial Modules using the link provided above. Once you are there, you can select from the different pages to:

  1. Watch a tutorial video.
  2. Answer the quiz questions. (You will need a score of at least 75% to pass the quiz, but you can take the test as many times as you need to pass.)
  3. If your professor requires evidence that you passed the tutorial, screenshot the certificate at the end and send it to your professor.

Library Skills Tutorials


Visit the Library Skills Tutorials using the link provided above. Once you are at the tutorials page, you can select from the different pages to:

  1. Watch a tutorial video.
  2. Answer the quiz questions. (You will need a perfect score to pass the quiz, but you can take the test as many times as you need to pass.)
  3. If your professor requires evidence that you passed the tutorial, screenshot the certificate at the end and send it to your professor.

Citation Tutorials


Visit the Library's Citation Tutorial Guide using the link provided above. The guide has three basic modules to help you learn the following:

  1. Why we cite
  2. Where we find the information to create citations
  3. How to create citations in a specific style (APA, Chicago, and MLA)

Each module contains videos and an online quiz.
