Transportation is an important aspect of Civil Engineering. The databases listed on the Find Articles tab are useful for transportation topics. In addition, here are some specialized resources:
California Partners for Advanced Transit and Highways. Administered by the Institute of Transportation Studies, UC Berkeley, in collaboration with Caltrans. Site provides information on research activities, newsletters, links to other sites related to advanced transportation, vehicle control, automated highways.
Cal Poly Pomona students, faculty, and staff have access to the Transportation Research Board papers published since 1996. Also called Journal of the Transportation Research Board.
Formerly called TRIS, this is a free database from the Transportation Research Board. It indexes journal articles, reports, websites, more. TRID does not have the full text for most of the documents - check our Library Catalog to see if we have the journals containing the articles you want.
A gateway to a wealth of transportation information: DOT agencies such as FAA and Federal Highway Administration, research news, legislation, regulations, publications, statistics and data for GIS.
