I received my B.A. in Communications from Cal State Fullerton and M.L.I.S. from San Jose State University. I'm currently in the Educational Leadership doctorate program here at Cal Poly Pomona. My family is from Merida, Yucatan, Mexico, and I come from Maya descent. I am a first-generation college Latina graduate. Learn about the first-generation mentoring program at CPP.
