Our philosophy aligns with Piaget and Vygotsky's theory. We believe that children learn best when supported by teachers, materials, and a rich learning environment , where they feel safe to explore, initiate learning and free to express themselves. Also, we believe that children benefit from practices in research, experiences which support hands on learning and reciprocal relationships with caring adults. |

Our teaching philosophy is to create a welcoming and friendly environment so children are able to feel comfortable and safe to communicate with us and share their thoughts and ideas. We believe in providing as many opportunities for children to grow and learn to recognize their own efforts. Every child is capable of leading their own learning by exploration and through hands-on experiences. The image of the child depends on how we view them, and if that's as capable and independent individuals, they are more likely to develop pro-environmental behaviours and attitudes as adults because they have explored, understand, and respect their environments. |

We believe children need a warm and creative environment to flourish and grow. By having exposure to natural play and literature, children can explore their surroundings and expand their knowledge. That is why literature is very important because not only do children have the opportunity to let their imagination run freely, they have the ability to increase their vocabulary and comprehensive skills. |

My philosophy is based on Lev Vygotsky and Howard Gardner. As an early childhood educator, I am responsible for providing a positive learning experience and using different intelligence methods. I believe every child learns differently, and they are a unique person. Also, I think children learn from one another and need guidance when it is required. I want parents to know that each day will be full of excitement, and their child will have a full day of knowledge. | I believe that each child is a unique individual who needs a secure, caring, and stimulating atmosphere in which to grow and mature emotionally, intellectually, physically, and socially. It is my desire as an educator to help students meet their fullest potential in these areas by providing an environment that is safe, supports risk-taking, and invites sharing of ideas. There are three elements that I believe are conducive to establishing such an environment, (1) the teacher acting as a guide, (2) allowing the child’s natural curiosity to direct his/her learning, and (3) promoting respect for all things and all people. |

As future educators we want to have our classroom be as inclusive as possible. We want to create a welcoming, anti-bias environment for our children and families. We would like everyone to learn from each other as well as from any additional resources we can provide to those children and their families. We believe that including a variety of books and activities helps a child with self expression and how to communicate. |

Our teaching philosophy is to provide a learning environment where children learn through hands-on play and inquiry of their interests. Teaching young children new vocabulary in an environment that promotes educational goals using the sociocultural learning theory. We want children to learn from, and with their peers, while we strive to make every child feel welcome through inclusivity and family collaboration. |

We believe that children learn in a variety of ways and at their own pace when they have the needed support and guidance. By creating a learning environment empowers children to think creatively, feel heard and grow confident in their abilities; while also emphasizing that families are a crucial part of children's learning process. When it comes to children’s learning skills, I strongly believe that it all comes down to having the ability to teach using visual, verbal, and physical skills towards your students. This can enhance their learning skills along with them having the ability to express their creative mindset towards their peers. |

Our philosophy for every child and family is to feel safe, secure and represented. We would want our classroom to be a secure place for all where the students and their “differences” are celebrated. Additionally, students must have different opportunities in which they can be productive, learn and grow developmentally in a nurturing setting. We tend to follow Reggio Emilia’s teaching approach in which children have a free hand and get a chance to express themselves as they experiment and learn. |
