Our philosophy aligns best with Maria Montessori and Lev Vygotsky, encouraging children to learn through play based activities. These activities are hands-on and will give children the opportunity to practice the process of learning a certain skill. |

My teaching philosophy is very much based on supporting the child’s emotional development just as much as their cognitive and physical development. I find myself most drawn towards the Montessori style of teaching, where children are encouraged learn through hands-on activities. Also, creating an inclusive environment where every child feels wanted and accepted is of utmost importance to me. Celebrating differences and similarities between classmates is always encouraged! | My teaching philosophy aligns with Maria Montessori’s philosophy, aspiring for children to learn in an environment that provides a “hands on” experiences and empowers the children to become leaders of their own knowledge and experiences. Having an open classroom to promote the children to act out their curiosity and interact with other children. |

Based upon the theories by Vygotsky, we believe that children learn best through play. Children learn best when supported by teachers, materials, and a rich learning environment, where they feel safe to explore, initiate learning and free to express themselves. |

Based upon Vygotsky’s theory, Children’s growth is best supported based upon their environment which made up of effective teachers, materials and play experiences. | My belief is that, through education, children will receive vital skills and tools that are necessary to build a successful educational experience. All children matter and deserve the best education to succeed at school. |

Our teaching philosophy is that of creating an environment where the children come together as a whole. We want our students to feel safe, loved, understood, and cared for. We want to create a classroom setting where the children and their development is our priority. By working together we can all grow and become the best versions of ourselves. Our goal is for the children to become successful and challenge them with something new every day. We hope to create a positive impact in our children’s learning/ development journey. |

To create a learning environment that is multicultural, inclusive, and encompasses the child as a whole. I hope to develop strong connections with not only the children in my classroom but also their families, so that we can both create a developmentally appropriate educational plan to help foster growth in their child. | To create a learning environment that allows children to think constructively, feels heard and encouraged to grow confident in their abilities. Based upon the theory of Bronfenbrenner's ecological systems, I firmly believe families and a strong support system as well as a healthy environment is crucial to the child's learning and development. |

Children need play. They learn to transform these educational experiences into determination, grit and passions. Children are able to develop and create their own unforgettable learning experiences that are true to who they are, as they discover the world for themselves. As they form connections with one another, they’ll share experiences, learn to negotiate and resolve conflicts while learning coping skills and self advocacy skills, all through playing.

Based on Vygotsky my theory is that children learn based on social interactions. Social interactions assist with developing children’s strong language skills. In addition, it creates communication and confidence that will be useful forever. | For me, the ideal classroom environment is student-centered. My classroom will always focus on the specific needs of my students. I will always ensure that my lessons involve multiple modalities so that students learn through their preferred learning style. |

My philosophy is based on my belief that children will perform at their best in a comfortable and secure environment. I believe building a secure relationship is crucial for children to develop and explore their interests and skills. | My teaching philosophy includes creating a culturally responsive learning environment that is inclusive of all children and their families.
