USGS Did You Feel It?
Did You Feel It? (DYFI) collects information from people who felt an earthquake and creates maps that show what people experienced and the extent of damage.

USGS Volcano Hazards Program 
There are 161 potentially active volcanoes in the U.S. The mission of the USGS Volcano Hazards Program is to enhance public safety and minimize social and economic disruption from volcanic unrest and eruption. We accomplish this by delivering effective forecasts, warnings, and information about volcano hazards based on scientific understanding of volcanic processes.


 

Water

USGS Groundwater Atlas of the United States
The Ground Water Atlas of the United States describes the location, hydrologic characteristics, and geologic characteristics of the principal aquifers throughout the 50 States, Puerto Rico, and the U.S. Virgin Islands. The groundwater information summarized in the Atlas was collected over many years by the USGS and other partner agencies and published in 2000. The Atlas provides key descriptive information in a regional and national context. geological and climatic history. More can be located here on the project's official website.
