Circulation Desk
The Circulation Desk is located to the left of the entrance to the 2nd floor.
At the Circulation Desk, you can check out library materials including:
Books, Technology, Course Reserves, Pick up Interlibrary Loan materials, and more.

Course Reserves
The Circulation/Course Reserves Desk maintains a collection of reserve materials chosen by instructors to support their courses. The University Library offers instructors and students the use of Course Reserves services in the form of physical material and library-owned eBooks and articles. Physical material includes both library-owned and instructor supplied materials such as books, DVD's, CD's, etc. A list of Course Reserves materials can be searched in our library catalog OneSearch under "Course Reserves."

Quick Look Up Computers
At the entrance of the 2nd floor, you will find several Quick Look Up Computer Stations. These computers are meant for searching the Library catalog. You cannot print from these computers or use them for extensive researching purposes.
Computers and Printers
Near the entrance to the library and just past the IT Help Desk, you will find computers available for research and study purposes. You can print from these computers.
You will find a color printer near the Bronco Community Zone.
Research Help Desk
The Research Help Desk is located on the 2nd floor behind the computer workstations.
Get help from student library assistants and the reference librarians. If no one is at the desk, head over to the Circulation Desk for assistance.

Tech Help Desk
The Tech Help Desk is located on the 2nd floor next to the Research Help Desk.
The Tech Help Desk can help you with printing, scanning and copying problems and help with application software. You can also call them at 909-869-4984.
Elevators
There are 2 elevator banks in the main library space. One with 2 doors and one with 3 doors.
The 2-door elevator bank only goes to floors 2-4
The 3-door elevator bank goes to floors 1-6
Staircases
There are staircases located on either side of the 3-door elevator bank. You can use the stairs to access floors 1-6.
Bronco Community Zone
The Bronco Community Zone is a collaborative workspace located in the center of the 2nd floor. There are white boards, a projector, chairs and tables to enable collaborative work. All of the furniture in the Bronco Community Zone is moveable.

Maker Studio
The Maker Studio is located on the 2nd floor behind the Bronco Community Zone.
The Maker Studio has all sorts of tools available for students to use to make various creative projects, including 3D printers, sewing machines, a laser cutter, and more.
Study Areas
The 2nd floor is a collaborative floor. There are a variety of study spaces available including tables, carrels, couches, and computers.
Graduate Resource Center
The Graduate Resource Center is located on the 2nd floor. The GRC is a virtual one-stop shop for support services to meet the needs of the graduate student population at Cal Poly Pomona
Media Studio
The Media Studio is located on the 2nd floor, room 2434.
To use the Media Studio, you need to make a reservation online. At your reserved time, come to the 2nd floor Circulation Desk to check out the Media Studio Kit for access. CPP students can make one 3-hour reservation each day.
You must bring your own flash drive!
Group Study Rooms
There are four study rooms on the 2nd floor. They are located next to the Media Studio.
Graphic Novels, DVDs, and CDs
You can find the graphic novel/comics, DVD, and CD collections on the 2nd floor in front of the Media Studio and study rooms.
Information Literacy Labs
The Information Literacy Labs are located on the 2nd floor to the right of the Learning Resource Center.
The Information Literacy Labs are dedicated classrooms for Information Literacy Instruction. Read more about the Library Instruction Program here.
Learning Resource Center and Tutoring Services
The Learning Resource Center is located on the 2nd floor after the elevators (3-doors).

The Writing Center is located within the Learning Resource Center.
The Writing Center offers one-on-one and small group tutoring on essays, application letters, memos, reports, research papers, and other assignments. The Writing Center offers these services on an appointment and drop-in basis.

Bronco Tutoring
The LRC tutoring services are free to all Cal Poly Pomona undergraduate and graduate students. Appointment, online, and drop-in tutoring are available beginning Week 2 of the semester through Finals Week. The LRC provides one-on-one and small group tutoring on an appointment, online, and drop-in basis for courses in math, science, engineering, business, social sciences, liberal arts, etc.
