Technology Lending Program

The CPP Library Technology Lending Program provides access to a variety of devices available for hourly & semester-long loan.
The Bronco Family Space is designed for students, faculty, and staff who need to use library services while caregiving. The Bronco Family space features interactive materials, including board books, picture books and puzzles, providing a rich space for children to explore.

Bronco Family Space iPads

Bronco Family Space iPads are available as a 4-hour loan.
Eligible Borrowers: Cal Poly Pomona students, faculty, and staff who are caregiving. 
Parental restrictions enabled.

Overdue Fines Apply: $50.00 per day.

Lost/Replacement Fines Apply: $1,000.00

A Technology Loan Agreement Form must be completed prior to coming to the 2nd floor Circulation Desk to check out any Tech Lending devices.

iPad Lending

  • iPads borrowed through Tech Lending require authentication with your Bronco username and password.
    • Eduroam network setup is necessary for Tech Lending items at time of checkout.
  • Printing has been disabled on Tech Lending items due to campus security.
  • Avoid saving data to the hard drive or desktop as it will be lost when the device is returned.
  • Students are not permitted to install additional software on iPads.
    • Access to class required programs are available from an Internet browser by using the Virtual Software Lab
    • Applications are available to download directly from the Apple App Store.
  • Technology items are owned and managed by the Cal Poly University, these items do not have the same functionality or accessibility a personally owned device is capable of.
  • Any misuse of borrowed Technology items for illegal purposes, unauthorized copying of copyright-protected material in any format, or transmission of threatening, harassing, defamatory or obscene materials is strictly prohibited.

Borrowing Tech Lending devices is a privilege that will be revoked if the service is misused.
