The Belonging, Accessibility, Diversity, Inclusion, and Equity Committee aims to transform the internal and external environment of the University Library as it pertains to equity, diversity, and inclusion. Some of our projects for AY 2024-2025 include:
- Renamed committee to Belonging, Accessibility, Diversity, Inclusion, and Equity (BADIE) Committee and updated committee charge
- Created and promoted monthly heritage and identity book displays and events in the library
- Began potential SWOT analysis of the library
- Investigated how the library can create belonging and connection in a library intiative
- Administered library wide Library Employee Engagement Survey
